In escape room INFERNO you will be working as a substitute at the fire department. After the shift has started, you will receive a fire alarm and you will be called out. In search of the fire, you will have to enter an old café and in order to extinguish the fire, you will have to solve various challenging puzzles along the way. Do you dare to take on the challenge?

AN EPIC STORY
In the spring of 2025, a brand new escape room will open in Katwijk aan Zee, inspired by the magical story of Geppetto and Pinocchio. Geppetto, an old woodworker with a passion for making wooden clocks and puppets, saw his wish come true when the good fairy brought his masterpiece, the puppet Pinocchio, to life. But after the first day of school, Pinocchio doesn’t come home, and soon Geppetto also disappears without a trace! Now it’s up to you, his last family members, to unravel the secrets of his workshop and find Pinocchio. Do you dare to take on the adventure?

Escape room INFERNO is located at the Wethouder D. Ouwehandstraat 9A in Katwijk aan Zee. The fire department is located at the end of the alley in the brick building. Walk up the fire escape. The entrance is on the first floor.
PARKING
Parking in the Wethouder D. Ouwehandstraat is exclusively for permit holders. You can park in the Parklaan. Paid parking is available on the side of the houses and free on the other side.
If there is no space here, we advise you to park in the car park on Laan van Nieuw Zuid (next to the Quick Boys football fields). From here it is about a 10-minute walk to Escape room INFERNO.
In the unlikely event that there is no space here, you can also park paid (in winter it is free here) at the Zuidduinen car park. This is a 10 minute walk.
Public transport
From Leiden Central Station
Take bus 31 towards Katwijk and get off at the Tramstraat stop. From here it is a 10 minute walk.
From The Hague Central Station
Take bus 90 towards Lisse and get off at the Duindoornlaan stop. From here it is a 3 minute walk.

What is an escape room?
An escape room is an interactive game at a physical location where a group of people discover and try to solve puzzles, riddles and challenges together within a certain time. Escape rooms are often set around a certain theme or story.
How many people can come and play?
Escape room INFERNO can be played with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people. For the best experience and experienced groups, we recommend playing with 4 people.
Escape room GEPPETTO can be played with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 people.
From what age is your escape room suitable?
Escape rooms INFERNO and GEPPETTO can be played from 12 years old under supervision of at least 2 adults.
INFERNO KIDS can be played by children aged 9-12, individually or under supervision of an adult. Please note that INFERNO KIDS can only be played in Dutch. For more information about INFERNO KIDS, click here.
Are your escape rooms accessible to everyone?
In our escape rooms you may end up in a small space, come into contact with exciting situations or have to crawl or climb. Our escape rooms are not wheelchair accessible or suitable for people who have difficulty walking. However, you can play our escape rooms if you are pregnant.
How can I book?
You can easily book via the booking form on our website. The booking can be finalized by paying online through iDeal or Bancontact. If you are unable to pay with these payment methods, please contact us.
Where can I park?
